DAWN COLE
Co-Founder
Dawn is a qualified and experienced Performing Arts teacher with a specialism in Dance.
Dawn has over 20 years’ experience in teaching, learning and development and worked as a Head of Department in a successful secondary comprehension school overseeing the performing arts curriculum. Dawn has experience teaching students from age 3-21yrs.
BECKY CRESCENT
Co-Founder
Becky is a qualified and experienced Performing Arts teacher with over 10 years teaching experience working in both comprehension and grammar secondary schools. Becky has also worked in private organisations and led the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) examinations and has successfully led students through their examinations, with 100% pass rate. Becky has experience teaching students from 3-21yrs.
FAYE JOHNSON
Dance Teacher
Faye graduated from Merseyside Dance and Drama centre in 2010. After graduating Faye went straight into rehearsals for Southport Christmas Pantomime and has been working professionally ever since.
She has had the privilege to work with lots of amazing industry professionals across many stages and countries around the world. Faye has worked as a dancer, singer, actresses, choreographer, presenter and entertainments manager, with experience working in TV, stage and radio.
Her performing credits include:
Royal Caribbean Cruises, Netflix, Bollywood, Formula 1, Tyas Brothers Indian Tour, Warner Brothers, Bourne Leisure, Kanika Entertainments, E3 group, Pele Productions, Alton Towers, Southport Theatre, Liverpool Empire, Aladdin, The Polar Express.
Faye now dedicates her time mentoring, workshoping and teaching at a number of dance schools and colleges across the North West aswell has Adjudicating for various competitions.
ELISE CHANG
Academy Administrator & Dance Teacher
Elise is a full-time member of the team and along with her administrative responsibilities, she also teaches a range of styles to Fusion students. Dance and fitness are a real passion of Elise’s, and she is currently completing her L2 & 3 Personal Training Qualifications.
MEGHAN BOWERS
Dance Teacher
Megan Bowers trained at Rare studios where she then got a scolarship to train at the prestigious Broadway Dance Center in NYC. She is now a passionate choreographer, teacher, performer and Author after publishing her own book- My Dance Journal. She’s performed in NYC and the UK with credits such as Top of the pops, Capital Jingle Bell Ball, BBC worldwide, Jax Jones and many more. Megan has choreographed for brands and singers such as L’Oréal, Mackenzie Ziegler, Johnny Orlando and Harlee.
JACK BYRNE
Dance Teacher
With a highly motivated and positive attitude, Jack began dancing at the age of 11, competing in many competitions worldwide. After studying at school, he trained and was awarded with scholarships at both Merseyside Dance and Drama Centre and Jelli Studios. During his time at Jelli Studios he became head boy which drove his passion further.
With his sheer commitment and love of dance, this led Jack to later become world champion in street and hip hop at the Dance World Cup 2016 in Jersey. Praised for his talents and passion towards dancing he soon went on to becoming Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer in Britains Got Talent 2016 with his dance group ‘Boogie Storm’ and placed third in the series.
With the huge success of Britain's Got Talent and the growing fan base of Boogie Storm, Jack spread his wings even further and started performing in many different countries throughout Europe and even performed in America at the halftime show for the Golden Warriors NBA game. After this he went on Americas Got Talent and got the golden buzzer for the second time off Simon Cowell.
This experience has helped him to continually grow and helped inspire him to focus on his main love, teaching. His contagious energy and bubbly personality mixed with his drive and passion for dancing makes him extremely popular with all students and a real asset to our College.
